Light Weapons
Light weapons are quick and speedy, requiring very little training to use. Light weapons use 1d6 as their damage die. You can use a shield with a light weapon.Cestus- A fighting glove, made of hard leather and reinforced with bronze. Delivers a hard bludgeoning blow, especially for experienced boxers.
Properties: Bludgeoning
Cudgel- A stout bludgeoning weapon made of wood. It could be a club, fighting stick, or staff. Carried by the CSF.
Properties- Bludgeoning
Dagger- A large bronze knife, with a wicked point and razor sharp edges. Can be used as both a tool and weapon.
Properties- Piercing
Javelin- A small spear, specifically designed for throwing. You can use it in melee but it truly shines as a ranged weapon where it uses 1d8 as its damage die.
Properties- Piercing and ranged
Sickle- A common bronze farm implement used to cut through grain. The common people often use them as weapons if needed.
Properties- Slashing
Sling- A simple weapon made of leather and rope. It is used to fling stones or sling bullets at targets with surprising force.

Balanced Weapons
Balanced weapons provide the perfect combination of speed and power. Balanced weapons use 1d8 as their damage die. You can use a shield with a balanced weapon.Battle Ax- A light, reinforced ax specifically designed for combat. The axhead is made of bronze.
Properties- Slashing
Bow & Arrow- A curved piece of wood attached at the ends by taught fiber or gut. Used to fire arrows. You cannot use a shield and bow at the same time.
Properties- Ranged
Fighting Pick- A curved piece of bronze ended in a sharp point attached to a wooden or bronze shaft. Designed to penetrate armor.
Properties-Piercing
Khopesh- A sickle shaped bronze blade. Often carried by officers in the Imperial Forces and a favorite of adventurers.
Properties-Slashing
Mace- A club with a heavy head of bronze. The premier bludgeoning weapon and a favorite side-arm of the Imperial Forces.
Properties- Bludgeoning
Spear-A wooden shaft attached to a bronze spearhead. The standard issue weapon of the Imperial Forces. It's meant to be used as a melee weapon, but it can be thrown. When thrown it used 1d6 as its damage die.

Heavy Weapons
Heavy weapons may be slow and awkward to use, but when they hit they have no equal. Heavy weapons use 1d10 as their damage die. Heavy weapons can be sacrificed to avoid critical damage, but you can’t use a shield with them.Crescent Ax-A towering, heavy ax. It can crush through armor as easily as a limb.
Properties-Slashing and bludgeoning
Heavy Mace-A shaft of bronze ending in a mace head covered in spikes or flanged sides. It can easily make it through armor.
Properties-Bludgeoning and piercing
Pole Arm- A tall spear, likely close to 10ft tall. You can even attack opponents from far away with it.

> Armor
Light Armor
Light armor is easy to wear and move about in. Light armor adds +1 to your armor.Bronze Disc Mail-A bronze disc laid over your chest and attached with leather straps.
Heavy Robes- Heavy, padded robes providing minimal protection.
Hide- Tanned hides of wildebeests, worked into a breastplate.
Leather- Tanned hides of wildebeests, rhinos or lions worked into a breastplate or cloak.
Stiff Wool Vest- The standard issue armor of the CSF, a vest made of hardened sheep or goat wool.
Balanced Armor
Balanced armor provides a mix of protection and mobility. Balanced armor adds +2 to your armor. Balanced armor can be sacrificed to avoid critical damage.Bronze Scale Mail-A shirt made of small individual bronze scales on a cloth or leather backing.
Bronze Triple Disc Mail-Three bronze discs laid upon your torso, and attached with leather straps.
Lamellar-Whole body armor made up of individual scales of hard leather. The standard issue armor of the Imperial Forces.
Heavy Armor
While you may be slow and noisy, it is much harder to hurt you when wearing heavy armor. Heavy armor adds +3 to your armor. Heavy armor can be sacrificed to avoid critical damage. Heavy armor can even stop critical damage from magical or directed energy attacks.Bronze Banded Mail- The heaviest armor available in Ancient Khares, consisting of multiple bands of hard bronze, covering the chin, neck, torso and thighs.
Bronze Cuirass- A bronze breastplate.
Bronze Ringmail-Leather armor, reinforced by many interlocking rings of heavy bronze.
Other Armor
Helmet-Head protection made from bronze, leather or ivory. While it does not add to your armor rating, you can sacrifice it to avoid taking critical damage.Shield-Typically made of hard wood or bronze, but varieties made of tortoise shell or leather are not unheard of. Shields add +1 to your armor. Shields can be sacrificed to avoid critical damage. Shields can even stop critical damage from magical or directed energy attacks.
> Special Weapon Materials
Most weapons are made of bronze. Sometimes they are made of other materials. Weapons made from these exotic substances command Ultra Rare prices, except stone which command common prices.
Elder Chiton- Carapaces of ancient insects, worked into wickedly sharp edges and barbs. Deals enhanced damage against constructs.
Jinnfeller Iron- A silvery ore, taken from rocks which fall from the heavens. Deals enhanced damage to Jinn.
Red Bronze- Crimson red bronze, said to store the power of the sun itself. Red Bronze weapons deal enhanced damage to the undead.
Stone- Weapons made from hard stone, sharp flint edges or obsidian blades. Can often be fashioned from readily available materials and cheaply. Deals impaired damage against armored foes. After dealing its maximum damage, the weapon breaks.
